The Tennessee Volunteers' offense was unstoppable at Faurot Field, amassing a staggering total of 683 yards. The ground game proved particularly lethal as they churned out 458 rushing yards. A highlight was an electrifying longest touchdown run that covered 92 yards, contributing to their five rushing touchdowns for the day.

The passing game complemented the rush attack effectively, with Tennessee quarterbacks throwing for three touchdowns and completing an impressive 78 percent of their passes for a total of 225 yards. Their longest pass connected for a touchdown covering 35 yards.

Defensively, the Volunteers were just as dominant. They recorded one sack and seven tackles for loss while limiting Missouri's scoring opportunities throughout the game. The defense also shone in turnover creation by intercepting two passes and returning them for a combined total of 61 yards.

Special teams played their part too; Tennessee kickers were perfect on field goal attempts with two successful kicks from within the range of twenty-nine yards and converted all eight extra point attempts.

The efficiency on third down was notable as well; converting six out of ten opportunities allowed Tennessee to maintain control throughout much of the game. In red zone efficiency, they scored on six out of seven chances which showcased their ability to finish drives when it mattered most.

On penalties, discipline was evident as they committed only two infractions totaling twenty penalty yards – showing focus and composure in what could have been high-pressure situations.

Attendance at Faurot Field witnessed this dominant performance by Tennessee with over forty-five thousand fans present to see it unfold live.

Looking ahead, fans can anticipate another exciting matchup as the Tennessee Volunteers will host South Carolina Gamecocks at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville on October ninth at noon local time (11 AM ET).
