The game held at Allegacy Federal Credit Union Stadium saw the Wake Forest Demon Deacons display an impressive offensive performance. The passing game was particularly effective, with the quarterback achieving a passer rating of 182 and completing 63 percent of his passes for a total of 329 yards. This included a remarkable longest pass completion of 69 yards which also resulted in the longest touchdown for the day.

On defense, Wake Forest's efforts were equally notable as they sacked Elon's quarterback four times for a loss of 22 yards and recorded two interceptions. Their defensive line also managed to hold back Elon's offense by making seven tackles for loss, totaling negative 28 yards against their opponents.

Special teams contributed significantly to Wake Forest's win as well. The field goal unit was flawless, converting all three attempts with the longest being from 34 yards out. Kickoff duties were handled efficiently too; out of eight kickoffs, half resulted in touchbacks while two landed inside the opponent’s twenty-yard line.

The rushing attack added another dimension to Wake Forest’s offense despite averaging only three yards per carry; they still managed to gain crucial first downs and scored one rushing touchdown from ten red zone attempts.

Receiving corps played an integral role as well by catching passes that amounted to first downs on twelve occasions and scoring three touchdowns throughout the game. In terms of discipline on both sides, penalties were kept minimal with only four infractions costing them fifty penalty yards.

Wake Forest fans witnessed their team maintaining control throughout most parts of the game which is evident from their possession time that spanned over half an hour and total play count reaching sixty-five plays resulting in an average gain per play close to seven yards.

Looking ahead, fans can mark their calendars for when Wake Forest Demon Deacons will host Vanderbilt Commodores at Allegacy Federal Credit Union Stadium on September 9th at 3:00 PM local time (EST). This upcoming contest will be broadcasted on ACC Network where supporters can tune in to follow all live-action from Winston-Salem.
