The Demon Deacons' offense struggled to find its rhythm throughout the game. Despite their efforts, they could only muster 210 total yards against a formidable Seminoles defense. The passing game was particularly stifled, as Wake Forest's quarterback was sacked five times and completed just six out of sixteen pass attempts for 82 yards. On the ground, however, there was a glimmer of hope as they managed to rush for 128 yards across forty-nine attempts, which included two rushing touchdowns.

Special teams had an active day with nine punts totaling 440 yards and one punt landing inside the twenty-yard line. The longest punt traveled an impressive 64 yards. In addition to punting duties, Wake Forest's kicker successfully converted one field goal from within twenty-nine yards and made an extra point after touchdown.

Penalties were relatively low for both sides; however, it is worth noting that the Demon Deacons incurred five penalties amounting to forty-four penalty yards throughout the contest.

On defense, Wake Forest managed to sack Florida State's quarterback once and recorded one forced fumble but failed to capitalize on turnovers as no interceptions were caught during this encounter.
