First Quarter

The opening quarter saw both teams making early strides on offense. The Demon Deacons managed to secure an early lead thanks to Robby Ashford's precise passing. Ashford completed 20 out of his 28 attempts for a total of 218 yards, showcasing his accuracy with a completion rate of 71 percent. One standout play came from Karate Brenson who made an impressive catch for a gain of 41 yards, setting up Wake's first touchdown drive.

Second Quarter

As the second quarter unfolded, defenses took center stage. The Deacons' defensive line was particularly effective in containing the Owls' offensive efforts. Jayden Loving and Gabe Kirschke each recorded one sack apiece, contributing to Wake's total of two sacks and five tackles for loss during the game.

Third Quarter

In the third quarter, both teams exchanged field goals as they continued to struggle offensively against strong defensive performances on both sides. Connor Calvert successfully converted one out of two field goal attempts for Wake Forest from a distance of 22 yards after having one blocked earlier in the game.

Fourth Quarter

The final period saw no points added by either team as defenses remained dominant until time expired. Despite several attempts by Kennesaw State to break through late in the game, they were unable to overcome Wake’s resilient defense which allowed only nine points throughout all four quarters.

Wake Forest Demon Deacons post-match stats reveal that their rushing attack was led by Ty Clark III who contributed significantly with his ground efforts totaling up to thirty-seven yards on eleven carries without any fumbles lost—a testament not only towards individual skill but also teamwork cohesion across various positions within this unit overall!

Looking ahead: Fans can catch their next matchup against Western Carolina Catamounts scheduled September sixth at two PM Eastern Daylight Time live via ACC Network Extra broadcasting directly from Allegacy Federal Credit Union Stadium located right here within Winston-Salem itself!
