Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders Face Off Against Ohio Bobcats at Baha Mar Convention Center

In a competitive matchup at the Baha Mar Convention Center, the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders fell to the Ohio Bobcats with a final score of 80-68. The Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders now hold a record of 0-1, while the Ohio Bobcats advance with a record of 1-0.

The game was marked by intense competition from both sides. The Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders started strong, scoring 38 points in the first half but were outpaced by the Ohio Bobcats who matched them with 40 points and maintained their lead throughout the second half. Despite their efforts, including shooting an impressive two-point percentage of 65 and making 17 two-point shots, it wasn't enough to secure victory.


The Middle Tennessee team showed resilience on defense with three blocks and four steals but struggled to contain the fast-paced offense of their opponents who scored an additional four fast break points. The Ohio Bobcats capitalized on turnovers scoring ten points off them and displayed efficient ball movement resulting in sixteen assists. Their field goal percentage stood at an impressive 59 percent as they made thirty-two field goals during playtime.
