Can Air Force Falcons Soar Above Boise State Broncos at ExtraMile Arena?

As the Air Force Falcons prepare to face off against the Boise State Broncos at ExtraMile Arena, fans are eager to see if their team can rebound from a series of challenging games. The upcoming clash scheduled for March 2nd is set to be a pivotal moment for the Falcons, who have shown both resilience and areas in need of improvement in their recent outings.

Air Force Falcons VS Boise State Broncos

In their last game against UNLV's Lady Rebels, the Falcons struggled defensively, allowing 95 points and suffering from a high personal foul count of 19. Despite putting up a respectable 68 points themselves, they were outmatched in field goal percentage (37 percent compared to UNLV's commanding 60 percent) and points in paint (28 versus UNLV's dominant 64). The team also had difficulty with turnovers, giving up possession nine times which translated into seven points for the Lady Rebels.

However, it wasn't all gloom for the Falcons; they demonstrated strong free-throw capabilities with a solid completion rate of 77 percent. Additionally, they managed an assists turnover ratio of nearly two (1.88), indicating good ball movement when not turning it over.

Looking back further at their home game against Fresno State Bulldogs reveals another tough loss despite an improved field goal percentage (44 percent) and more steals (11). Yet again turnovers were problematic; eight led directly to twenty Fresno State points. Their performance inside was stronger here though with forty points coming from within the paint.

The game prior offered some hope as well – a close victory over Utah State Aggies where they managed to secure more rebounds than turnovers and shot free throws at an impressive rate of 83 percent. Their three-point shooting was also better than average at thirty-three percent.

As we approach this critical matchup, it is clear that maintaining possession and defensive fortitude will be key factors for Air Force if they wish to emerge victorious from Boise's court. Fans can catch this exciting encounter on March 2nd at ExtraMile Arena or tune in via broadcast channels supporting women’s college basketball.
