California Golden Bears Dominate at Al Lawson Center Against Florida A&M Lady Rattlers

In a display of dominance, the California Golden Bears outperformed the Florida A&M Lady Rattlers with a final score of 76-38. The Golden Bears, who played away at the Al Lawson Center in Tallahassee, showcased their strength throughout all four quarters. They started strong with 18 points in both the first and second quarters and continued their momentum into the second half with 16 points in the third quarter before closing out with an impressive 24 points in the fourth. The Lady Rattlers struggled to keep pace, scoring only single digits in three of four quarters.

The California team's victory was bolstered by their superior shooting accuracy; they made 23 field goals on 59 attempts for a field goal percentage of 39 percent and were particularly effective from beyond the arc, sinking 11 three-pointers at a notable rate of approximately 41 percent. At the free-throw line, they capitalized on their opportunities by making 19 out of 24 shots for an approximate free throw percentage of 79 percent.

Defensively, California was just as formidable. They amassed a total rebound count of 53 compared to Florida A&M's more modest tally of 31 rebounds. Of these rebounds for California, an impressive number were offensive grabs that gave them additional scoring opportunities which they converted into valuable second-chance points totaling to about twelve.

The Golden Bears also demonstrated efficient ball movement and teamwork with seventeen assists over the course of play while maintaining defensive pressure that resulted in six steals and five blocks. This defensive effort contributed to eighteen points off turnovers as they capitalized on mistakes made by Florida A&M.

On Florida A&M's side, despite being overwhelmed by California's performance, there were efforts worth noting such as ten steals which reflect their defensive hustle during playtime. However, shooting woes plagued them throughout; they managed only fifteen field goals on sixty-one attempts resulting in an approximate field goal percentage below twenty-five percent and struggled even more from long range hitting just two three-pointers for an approximate rate below twenty-three percent.

Fans can look forward to seeing if California can maintain this level of play when they return home to Haas Pavilion where they will face San Jose State Spartans on November twenty-fourth at eight o'clock PM Eastern Time (five o'clock PM Pacific Time). While no broadcast networks have been announced yet for this upcoming game against San Jose State Spartans fans are encouraged to stay tuned for future announcements regarding where they can watch these talented athletes continue their season.
