At the Xfinity Center in College Park, fans witnessed the Maryland Terrapins secure a decisive victory over the James Madison Dukes. The home team showcased an impressive offensive display, outscoring their opponents in each quarter and finishing with a total of 78 points. The Terrapins' defense was equally formidable, limiting the Dukes to just 55 points throughout the game.

The Terrapins were particularly effective from inside the paint, scoring 32 points compared to only 18 by the Dukes. This inside dominance was complemented by Maryland's superior shooting accuracy; they shot over forty percent from field goal range and nearly thirty-six percent from beyond the arc. In contrast, James Madison struggled with their shooting touch, managing just under twenty-nine percent for field goals and approximately twenty-six percent on three-point attempts.

Maryland also excelled at drawing fouls and capitalizing on free throws, making nineteen of their twenty-four attempts which translates to an impressive seventy-nine percent success rate. Meanwhile, James Madison could not keep pace as they made only seven out of twelve free throw shots.

On defense, both teams were aggressive and committed eighteen personal fouls each. However, it was Maryland who better leveraged turnovers into scoring opportunities; they scored twenty-two points off turnovers while holding James Madison to eight points in this category.

Rebounding was nearly even between both squads as Maryland grabbed forty-four rebounds while James Madison collected forty-five. Despite this close margin on boards overall, it was clear that Maryland's defensive efforts were more effective as they amassed thirty-five defensive rebounds contributing significantly to limiting second-chance opportunities for their opponents.

Looking ahead for fans of The Terrapins is an away game against Nebraska Cornhuskers at Pinnacle Bank Arena located in Lincoln on December 31st at 7:30 PM local time (Eastern Time). While no broadcast networks have been announced yet for this matchup between The Maryland Terrapins and Nebraska Cornhuskers fans should stay tuned for future announcements regarding where they can catch all of the action live.
