Nebraska Cornhuskers Edge Out Michigan Wolverines in a Close Encounter at Crisler Center

The Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Michigan Wolverines faced off in a tightly contested match that ended with the scoreboard reading 65-59. The Cornhuskers, playing as guests at the Crisler Center, improved their record while handing the Wolverines another mark in their loss column. On individual performances, Nebraska players showed discipline despite committing a total of seventeen personal fouls throughout the game. They also kept control of possession relatively well with fourteen turnovers against them.


The Michigan Wolverines put up a valiant fight but fell short despite out-rebounding Nebraska with thirty-five boards including nine team rebounds. They also had ten assists but were less effective shooting from both field goal range at thirty-nine percent and three-point range at twenty-five percent accuracy.
