Utah Utes VS Ole Miss Rebels

The Ole Miss Rebels started strong, leading the first quarter with 19 points to Utah's 20. However, they fell slightly behind in the second quarter, adding only 16 points to their tally. The third quarter saw them regain some ground with an additional 17 points but it was not enough to secure a lead going into the final stretch of the game. Despite their efforts and scoring another 15 points in the fourth quarter, they ultimately fell short by two points.

The Rebels showed resilience on defense with nine steals and two blocks throughout the game. They also demonstrated teamwork on offense with ten assists. Their shooting accuracy from within the arc was notable as they made twenty out of fifty attempts resulting in a forty percent success rate from two-point range.

From beyond the arc, Ole Miss managed to sink six three-pointers out of twenty attempts which translated into thirty percent shooting accuracy for three-pointers. At free throw line, they excelled by making nine out of eleven shots which is an impressive eighty-two percent free throw percentage.

On rebounds, Ole Miss gathered thirty-three total rebounds including fourteen offensive boards that contributed significantly to their sixteen second-chance points. They also capitalized on turnovers by scoring fifteen points off turnovers caused by Utah Utes' seventeen total turnovers.

Conversely, despite committing more personal fouls than Utah (twenty-two compared to sixteen), Ole Miss managed fewer total rebounds than their opponents who collected thirty-eight rebounds overall including twenty-four defensive ones which helped them maintain possession and control over much of gameplay flow.

Utah Utes' performance inside paint was particularly strong; they scored thirty-eight paint-points and showcased superior field goal percentage overall at forty-six percent compared to Ole Miss’ thirty-seven percent field goal percentage.
