Ole Miss Rebels VS Georgia Lady Bulldogs

The game unfolded at Stegeman Coliseum in Athens, where the Rebels showcased their scoring abilities right from the start. The first quarter saw them trailing slightly with 16 points to Georgia's 18. However, they quickly turned things around in the second quarter by adding another 18 points while holding Georgia to just nine points. Maintaining their momentum through the third and fourth quarters with an additional 18 and then 17 points respectively, they demonstrated solid performance throughout.

Ole Miss's offense was particularly effective inside as they scored an impressive total of 36 points in the paint. Their shooting was on point as well; they achieved a field goal percentage of fifty-two percent by making thirty out of fifty-eight attempts from the field. From beyond the arc, they shot forty-two percent which translated into five three-pointers made out of twelve attempts.

Defensively, Ole Miss managed to block three shots and came away with five steals during this matchup. They also showed discipline by committing only twelve personal fouls throughout the game. On top of that, their rebounding effort was commendable as they grabbed twenty-nine rebounds – eight offensive and twenty-one defensive ones.

The team's ball handling was another highlight; despite six turnovers committed by players individually, there were no team turnovers recorded for Ole Miss. This careful possession control contributed to their fourteen points off turnovers compared to thirteen for Georgia.

Georgia Lady Bulldogs did not go down without a fight though; their resilience was evident as they managed to block twice as many shots totaling six blocks and kept up defensively with four steals. They also excelled at free throw accuracy hitting ninety percent from the line but struggled from long range making only two out of five three-point attempts for forty percent accuracy.

Looking ahead after this conference game win over Georgia Lady Bulldogs (8-9), Ole Miss Rebels (11-6) will be hosting Florida Gators at The Pavilion at Ole Miss on January 25th at 7:00 PM local time (CT). Fans can catch all action live where it will be broadcasted for those eager to follow along as these teams face off next week.
