Maintaining their momentum through quarters three and four with consistent scoring, they finished strong with additional contributions of 14 and then finally sealing their win with another solid performance netting them another 19 points.

The home team's statistics reflect their dominance on court; they outperformed their opponents significantly in rebounds grabbing a total of 48 compared to the Aztecs' more modest count of 30. This included both defensive rebounds (32) and offensive rebounds (11), which provided crucial second-chance opportunities resulting in an additional thirteen points for the Rebels.

Offensively, UNLV showcased efficiency from two-point range shooting at a commendable rate of approximately forty-five percent making twenty-three baskets from fifty-one attempts. Their free throw accuracy was also notable as they converted nearly ninety-one percent from the line which contributed ten essential points to their total score.

Despite turning over possession seventeen times compared to eleven by SDSU, UNLV managed to keep pace scoring twelve points off turnovers while limiting SDSU's advantage from such scenarios to twenty-one points. The home team also capitalized on fast breaks outscoring SDSU twelve-six in this aspect.

On defense, UNLV demonstrated superiority by blocking seven shots while SDSU managed five blocks throughout the game. However, it is worth noting that despite having fewer steals than SDSU who had eight steals during play; this did not deter UNLV's overall defensive effectiveness or impact on securing victory.
