The UNLV Lady Rebels, ranked 24th, edged out the Boise State Broncos with a final score of 63-57. The Lady Rebels now boast an impressive season record, while the Broncos are left to regroup after another setback. The game saw both teams fiercely competing through four quarters, with the lead changing hands multiple times.

UNLV Runnin' Rebels VS Boise State Broncos

From the opening tip-off at Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas, it was clear that this conference game would be a battle of wills. Despite trailing in the first quarter with only 8 points to Boise State's 14, the Lady Rebels demonstrated remarkable composure and determination. They bounced back in the second quarter by adding 19 points to their tally while holding their opponents to an equal number.

The third quarter mirrored the second as both teams once again put up 19 points apiece. It was during this period that UNLV's offensive efforts began to shine through; they executed plays that led them into scoring positions within the paint where they accumulated a total of 38 points throughout the game.

UNLV's defense also stepped up when it mattered most. With nine steals and two blocks contributing to their defensive prowess, they were able to disrupt Boise State's rhythm and capitalize on turnovers by scoring eight points off these opportunities.

On offense, UNLV showcased efficient shooting from close range with a solid fifty-four percent success rate on two-point attempts. Their free throw accuracy was notable as well – sinking seven out of nine attempts for an impressive seventy-eight percent completion rate – which proved crucial down the stretch.

Boise State struggled with ball control throughout much of the contest; they turned over possession fifteen times compared to UNLV’s ten turnovers. This discrepancy allowed for additional scoring chances for UNLV who made sure to take advantage by notching thirteen second-chance points against Boise State’s four.

Despite being outrebounded slightly by Boise State (35-33), UNLV managed six offensive rebounds which were converted into valuable extra possessions and ultimately more scores on board for them.

As fans look ahead, anticipation builds for what promises to be another exciting matchup when San Diego State Aztecs visit Cox Pavilion on March 2nd at 2:00 PM local time (PST). Followers can catch all action live as it unfolds right from Las Vegas or tune into broadcasts scheduled across various platforms catering specifically towards basketball enthusiasts eager not miss any moment from this upcoming encounter between collegiate rivals.
