Despite trailing in the first half with scores of 10 and 8 in the first two quarters respectively, they rallied back with an impressive third quarter scoring 19 points. However, their fourth-quarter effort adding another 12 points was not enough to secure victory.

They were particularly effective inside, scoring 20 points in paint and grabbing an impressive number of offensive rebounds at fourteen which contributed to eight second-chance points.
