Defensive Lockdown

The Buffalo defense was nothing short of spectacular, showcasing why they're considered among the elite in the league. With a total of three interceptions and two sacks contributing significantly to their win, they kept the Dolphins' offense under wraps throughout the game. Cornerback Ja'Marcus Ingram stood out with two interceptions and two passes defended, playing a pivotal role in halting Miami's aerial attack. Defensive tackle Ed Oliver also made his presence felt by recording one sack and adding two tackles for loss, further stifling any momentum Miami hoped to build.

Ground Game Excellence

On offense, it was Buffalo's running game that stole the spotlight. Accumulating 108 rushing yards over 26 attempts at an average of four yards per carry highlighted their balanced attack strategy. Running back James Cook led this charge with an impressive performance that included 78 rushing yards on just 11 carries; his longest run spanned 49 yards into Miami's end zone for one of his two touchdowns on the day.

Quarterback Josh Allen managed an efficient passing game despite not accumulating massive yardage totals. Completing 13 out of his 19 attempts for a total of 139 passing yards and one touchdown pass reflected his precision and decision-making during crucial moments. His quarterback rating stood at an impressive 107.1 by game's end.

Special Teams Contributions

Special teams also played their part in securing this victory for Buffalo with Tyler Bass converting one field goal from within fifty yards out while maintaining perfect accuracy on extra points attempts.
