The Bills' defense was particularly notable, with contributions from several players leading to a total of four sacks and three interceptions against the Colts. Taron Johnson stood out with an interception returned for 23 yards, contributing significantly to one of the touchdowns scored during the game. Additionally, Greg Rousseau and A.J. Epenesa each recorded a sack and played crucial roles in halting the Colts' offensive drives.


On offense, Josh Allen threw for 280 yards despite two interceptions. His performance included rushing for one touchdown and achieving an average of eight yards per pass attempt. James Cook also made significant contributions on the ground with 80 rushing yards and one touchdown from 19 attempts, averaging four yards per carry.

Special Teams Impact


Tyler Bass's perfect field goal record was another highlight for Buffalo, making all three attempted field goals including a long of 47 yards. This accuracy contributed crucial points that helped secure Buffalo's lead throughout the game.


The special teams unit also ensured dominance in field position through effective punting by Sam Martin, who managed two punts inside the 20-yard line totaling 109 yards.
