New Orleans Saints Shut Out at Levi's Stadium Against San Francisco 49ers

The New Orleans Saints, with a season record of 7-10, faced a challenging game against the San Francisco 49ers, who now stand at 13-4. The final scoreline read 13-0 in favor of the home team.

In Santa Clara's Levi's Stadium, the New Orleans Saints struggled to find their rhythm against a formidable San Francisco defense. Despite completing 18 out of 30 passing attempts for a total of 204 yards and achieving an average gain of nearly five yards per play, the Saints were unable to convert any red zone opportunities into points. The offense saw two fumbles during the game which contributed to their inability to put points on the board.

The defensive unit for the Saints managed one sack and four tackles for loss while also forcing two three-and-outs. However, they could not generate turnovers which might have shifted momentum in their favor. The special teams had an average punting yardage of around 46 with two punts landing inside the opposing team's twenty-yard line.

On offense, rushing proved difficult as well with only four first downs gained on the ground from twenty-two attempts totaling just over sixty yards. Penalties also hindered progress as six flags cost them forty-six yards throughout playtime.

The receiving corps caught eighteen passes but failed to reach the end zone despite six red zone targets among them; dropped passes were minimal with only one missed opportunity recorded.

As for kicking performance, there was no success in field goals as their single attempt did not go through; this was compounded by failing to make any extra point attempts due to lack of touchdowns scored by either rushing or passing plays.

Looking ahead, fans can catch New Orleans Saints' next challenge when they face off against Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium on December 5th at 8:15 PM Eastern Time. This upcoming match will be broadcasted live on ESPN for those eager to follow along from home or elsewhere.
