The New Orleans Saints' defense showcased resilience with three sacks and six tackles for loss, accumulating seven quarterback hits throughout the game. Ugo Amadi and Khalen Saunders each contributed significantly with one sack apiece, demonstrating their defensive capabilities. Saunders also added four combined tackles to his impressive performance on the field.


Special teams played a pivotal role in field positioning as Matthew Hayball punted nine times for an impressive total of 437 yards, including five punts landing inside the 20-yard line. Blake Grupe's leg was tested as he made two out of three field goal attempts, contributing crucial points for the Saints.

Offensive Highlights


On offense, Alvin Kamara led rushing efforts with 67 yards over ten attempts but was unable to find his way into the end zone this time around. The passing game saw Spencer Rattler and Jake Haener combine for a total of 278 passing yards; however, they were unable to connect for any touchdowns. Chris Olave emerged as Rattler's top target by securing eight receptions for an impressive total of 107 yards.


Despite these efforts from key players and promising moments throughout the match, penalties proved costly for New Orleans. The team was penalized seven times resulting in lost yardage which hindered their ability to maintain momentum at critical junctures.
