First Quarter

The opening quarter set the tone for the game as both teams tested their offensive strategies. The Saints managed to secure an early field goal thanks to kicker Charlie Smyth's precision from 50 yards out. However, it was evident that the Bolts' defense was prepared for battle, limiting New Orleans' rushing attempts and forcing them into third-down situations.

Second Quarter

As the second quarter unfolded, Tyler Shough connected with Mason Tipton for a remarkable 54-yard touchdown pass that stood out as one of the game's pivotal plays. Despite this highlight, turnovers plagued New Orleans throughout this period. Spencer Rattler's fumble added pressure on their defense, which struggled against Los Angeles' relentless offense led by Justin Herbert.

Third Quarter

In an attempt to regain momentum in the third quarter, New Orleans relied heavily on their defensive line featuring standout performances from Fadil Diggs and Chris Rumph II who each recorded sacks. Yet again though they were unable to capitalize offensively due largely due poor efficiency within red zone opportunities where they failed convert any attempts into points.
