First Quarter

The opening quarter set the tone for the game as the Niners' defense immediately made an impact. Clelin Ferrell led the charge with two sacks, contributing significantly to San Francisco's three total sacks in the game. The Browns struggled to gain momentum against this relentless defense, which forced one fumble recovery by Luke Gifford.

Second Quarter

In the second quarter, Brock Purdy connected effectively with his receivers. George Kittle was instrumental in advancing plays, securing four receptions for a total of 67 yards. Jauan Jennings also made his mark by scoring a touchdown from a seven-yard pass by Purdy. This offensive drive helped extend their lead before halftime.

Third Quarter

Christian McCaffrey showcased his versatility during this period with both rushing and receiving contributions. He rushed for 53 yards and scored one rushing touchdown while also catching four passes for an additional 21 yards. His performance was crucial in maintaining pressure on Cleveland's defense.

Fourth Quarter

As time wound down, Matt Gay sealed any comeback hopes for Cleveland by successfully converting two field goals from distances of up to 31 yards each—maintaining his perfect kicking record this season. Meanwhile, Isaac Guerendo forced another fumble that further stifled any offensive attempts from the Dawg Pound.

San Francisco's defensive unit continued its dominance throughout all quarters without allowing any touchdowns from Cleveland’s offense—a testament to their strategic execution on both sides of play.
