The Washington Commanders showcased a robust offensive performance, accumulating a total of 365 yards. The passing game was particularly effective, with the quarterback throwing for 290 yards and achieving a passer rating of nearly 99. Despite being sacked five times, he managed to complete approximately 71 percent of his passes and threw for one touchdown. The receiving corps was also on point, catching passes for an average of ten yards per reception and securing one touchdown.

On the ground, the Commanders rushed for 107 yards across 28 attempts which included two touchdowns. Their longest rush was an impressive run spanning twenty yards. In addition to their rushing prowess, they were successful in four out of five red zone attempts and converted both their fourth-down opportunities.

Defensively, the Commanders registered three sacks and eight quarterback hits while hurrying the opposing quarterback four times. They forced seven tackles for loss totaling seventeen yards lost by their opponents but did not manage to secure any interceptions during this encounter.

Special teams played their part as well; they executed all kickoffs resulting in touchbacks and successfully made one field goal from within twenty-nine yards out.

Despite these efforts by Washington's team members across various facets of play – including forcing two fumbles from which they scored once – it wasn't enough to overcome the Eagles' performance on their home turf before nearly seventy thousand fans in attendance.

Looking ahead after this narrow defeat, fans can mark their calendars for when the Washington Commanders will host Chicago Bears at FedExField in Landover on October sixth at eight fifteen PM Eastern Time. This game will be broadcasted exclusively on Amazon Prime Video where supporters can tune in to watch live action unfold under lights.
