Commanders' Offensive Onslaught

The Commanders' offense was firing on all cylinders, amassing a total of 449 yards. Quarterback Jayden Daniels showcased his efficiency and versatility, completing an impressive 87 percent of his passes for 233 yards and adding one touchdown pass to his tally. However, it was not just through the air that Washington made their mark; they also dominated on the ground. The team rushed for a total of 216 yards, with running back Jeremy McNichols leading the charge by scoring two touchdowns and accumulating 68 rushing yards on eight attempts.

Receiver Olamide Zaccheaus emerged as Daniels' top target, racking up 85 receiving yards on six catches. Terry McLaurin also made significant contributions with seven receptions for 52 yards and securing one touchdown. This balanced attack kept the Cardinals' defense guessing throughout the game.

Defensive Prowess Keeps Cardinals at Bay

On defense, Washington was equally impressive. They racked up four sacks and forced three fumbles while limiting Arizona to just two touchdowns. Dorance Armstrong stood out with 1.5 sacks and three quarterback hits, showcasing relentless pressure that disrupted Arizona's offensive rhythm all game long.

Linebacker Frankie Luvu was instrumental in stifling Arizona's offense as well; he recorded half a sack and forced one fumble while recovering another himself—contributions that directly impacted the momentum of the game.
