First Quarter

The opening quarter saw both teams testing their offensive strategies. The Commanders struggled to gain momentum with their rushing game, managing only 51 yards on 19 attempts. Austin Ekeler led the charge with 17 yards on eight carries but failed to break through for significant gains. Meanwhile, Jayden Daniels attempted to establish a passing rhythm but was met with resistance from GB's defense.

Second Quarter

As the second quarter unfolded, Jayden Daniels found some success through aerial attacks. He completed two touchdown passes and accumulated a total of 200 passing yards by game's end. Notably, Zach Ertz caught one of these touchdowns and contributed significantly with six receptions totaling 64 yards.

Third Quarter

In contrast, GB capitalized on their opportunities during this period. Their quarterback efficiently navigated through WAS's defense which recorded two sacks but couldn't halt GB's progress entirely. The defensive line led by Dorance Armstrong showed promise with his sack and tackle for loss contributions.

Fourth Quarter

Entering the final quarter, WAS attempted to close in on GB’s lead but fell short despite commendable efforts from Terry McLaurin who secured five receptions for 48 yards throughout the match. Tress Way also played an essential role in field positioning with his punting prowess averaging nearly 47 yards per punt.

Despite these efforts, it was clear that missed opportunities plagued WAS as they converted only five out of sixteen third-down attempts (31 percent). Additionally, Matt Gay’s field goal accuracy faltered as he made just one out of three attempts (33 percent).
