In an evenly matched contest at the Honda Center, the Arizona Coyotes put up a resilient fight against the Anaheim Ducks. The game saw both teams locked in a competitive struggle, with each side showcasing their skills on ice. The Coyotes opened strong with two goals in the first period and added another in the second to bring their total to three goals for the game. Despite this early lead, they were unable to secure victory.


The offensive efforts by the Coyotes were evident as they took a total of 35 shots on goal throughout the match. Their shooting accuracy was calculated at nine percent as they managed to convert three out of those attempts into goals during even strength play. On defense, they blocked seven shots and delivered eight hits over the course of play.

Special teams did not contribute to scoring this time around for either side; however, it's worth noting that while on powerplay opportunities generated from four chances and five shots taken during these moments did not result in any goals for Arizona.


Arizona's goaltender had a busy night facing 29 shots and making 25 saves which translates into an eighty-six percent save rate but ultimately suffered an overtime loss due to two shorthanded goals allowed out of six shorthanded shots faced.

On faceoffs, Arizona showed dominance by winning thirty-two out of fifty-five draws which is reflected in their fifty-eight percent faceoff win percentage. They also maintained discipline despite being handed seven penalties; only one was major resulting in twenty-five penalty minutes overall without conceding any powerplay goals against them.


Conversely, Anaheim capitalized on their powerplays scoring twice from six shots across four opportunities which contributed significantly to their win along with twenty-seven hits thrown indicating physical presence throughout gameplay. Their goaltender saved thirty-two out of thirty-five shots giving them ninety-one percent save efficiency leading them towards victory including one overtime goal that sealed their triumph over Arizona.
