In an electrifying match-up at Amalie Arena, home of the Tampa Bay Lightning, fans were treated to an intense battle on ice where both teams demonstrated their offensive capabilities. The Arizona Coyotes opened their account early in the first period and maintained a consistent scoring pace with one goal in each of the subsequent periods. Their shooting accuracy was notable with a shooting percentage of 15 percent from 20 shots on goal.

The team's physicality was evident as they delivered a total of 38 hits throughout the game and blocked an impressive number of attempts by their opponents with 16 blocked shots. Faceoffs were fiercely contested; however, Arizona managed to win more than half of them with a faceoff win percentage standing at 56 percent.

Arizona's penalty minutes totaled up to an imposing figure of 26 minutes due to various infractions including two major penalties and one misconduct penalty. Despite being shorthanded multiple times, they showed resilience by not conceding any powerplay goals and even managing to make eleven saves while playing with fewer skaters on ice.

On offense, five different players contributed assists for Arizona but it wasn't enough against a strong Tampa Bay side that capitalized on their opportunities more effectively. The goaltending for Arizona had its moments too; despite letting in six goals overall, there were still thirty-one saves made during regular play which reflects some solid performances between the pipes.
