The match began with an aggressive start from the Arizona Coyotes who managed to put two goals on the board in the first period. Their offensive play was complemented by a successful powerplay goal out of six opportunities, showcasing their ability to capitalize on their man advantage. With 30 shots taken throughout the game and a shooting percentage of 10 percent, they demonstrated consistent pressure on offense.

Defensively, however, it was a challenging night for the Coyotes as they faced an onslaught from Colorado's attackers. The goaltending for Arizona showed resilience with 33 saves but ultimately conceded four goals. Despite blocking an impressive number of shots (13), it wasn't enough to stave off defeat.

The special teams had moments of brilliance and struggle; while they scored once during powerplays and took numerous shots (15), their faceoff win percentage during these crucial moments was only at 31 percent which may have limited further scoring opportunities.

On even strength situations though, they were more effective in faceoffs winning just over half of them which is indicative of competitive play when both teams were at full strength.

Turning attention towards Colorado Avalanche's performance briefly – they displayed strong defense with higher hits (14) and blocked attempts (15). Their even-strength gameplay yielded all four goals contributing to their victory alongside better faceoff win percentages overall (57 percent).

Looking ahead for fans of the Arizona Coyotes: The next challenge will be against Edmonton Oilers at Mullett Arena in Tempe on February 19th scheduled for a start time corresponding to local fans' clocks showing around 2:00 PM MST. This encounter can be caught live through ESPN+ online or SCRIPPS TV network ensuring that supporters won't miss any action from their home venue.
