The match at Mullett Arena was an exhibition of offensive prowess from the home team. The Arizona Coyotes started slow but picked up momentum as they entered the second period without any points to their name. However, they soon turned things around by netting two goals in quick succession. As the game progressed into the third period, fans were treated to an impressive display as the Coyotes scored four additional goals.

A key highlight for Arizona was their shorthanded performance; they managed to score twice while being a man down. These shorthanded goals contributed significantly to their six-goal tally and showcased their ability to capitalize on opportunities even under pressure. The team's shooting percentage stood out at 17 percent for this game – a testament to their sharpshooting during play.

On top of that, one powerplay goal was added to their scoreline from just two opportunities in this aspect of play – efficiency that certainly played a role in securing victory.

Goaltending also deserves mention as it played a crucial part in keeping Columbus at bay; Arizona's goalie saved 25 shots out of 27 – maintaining an impeccable save percentage throughout all three periods.

Conversely, Columbus Blue Jackets found some success on powerplays by converting two out of four chances into goals but struggled overall against Arizona's defense and goaltending efforts. Their total hits numbered 27 and shots taken were equal to that number; however, only two found the back of the net which reflected on their shooting percentage rounding off at seven percent.

Looking ahead for fans eager to follow more action-packed games featuring The Coyotes: They are scheduled next against Nashville Predators on March 29th at Mullett Arena in Tempe. This encounter is set for broadcast across multiple networks including ESPN+ online and BSSO television channel along with SCRIPPS internet streaming services starting from 9:00 PM MST.
