From the opening faceoff to the final buzzer at Mullett Arena in Tempe, Arizona, the Coyotes demonstrated their dominance on home ice. The team's shooting accuracy was on full display as they converted 21 percent of their shots into goals. The offensive effort was complemented by an equally impressive performance between the pipes; Arizona's goaltender saved 28 out of 30 shots for a perfect save percentage.

The Coyotes' special teams contributed significantly to their success. They capitalized on one of their two powerplay opportunities and maintained discipline throughout the game by only serving four penalty minutes. On even strength, they were particularly effective, netting four goals from twenty-one shots.

Arizona's players showed up when it mattered most. The team registered eight assists and thirteen points overall in this high-scoring affair. Their physicality was also evident as they delivered twenty hits over three periods while blocking sixteen shots from reaching their own netminder.

On the other side of the rink, despite losing ground in faceoff wins with only thirty-eight percent compared to sixty-two percent by Edmonton Oilers', Arizona managed to maintain control where it counted most – on the scoreboard and in playmaking execution.

The Oilers did not go down without a fight; they took thirty shots at goal but were stymied by Arizona’s solid defensive play which saw them block more than half as many attempts (16) compared to Edmonton’s (8). Additionally, despite ten takeaways by Edmonton players indicating strong defensive efforts to regain possession during play transitions – it wasn’t enough against an unyielding Coyote defense that allowed just two goals through sixty minutes.

As fans look forward to future matchups after witnessing such an engaging contest between these two teams at Mullett Arena where nearly full attendance (4,600 spectators) experienced hockey action live – remember that upcoming games will be broadcasted for those unable to attend in person or wishing for another angle on this exciting sport.
