First Period

The opening period saw both teams testing each other's defenses but neither side managed to find the back of the net. The Canadiens displayed solid defensive play, with Samuel Montembeault making crucial saves to keep his team in contention.

Second Period

The second period was more eventful as both teams found their scoring touch. Noah Dobson of the Habs opened up for his team by scoring one of his two goals during this period, showcasing his offensive prowess from defense. Overtime

As overtime commenced, tensions were high with both teams eager for victory.
