First Period

The opening period saw both teams locked in a defensive battle, with neither side able to break through. The Flyers managed only a few shots on goal, while the Bruins were equally stifled by Philadelphia's defense. Both teams displayed disciplined play, avoiding penalties and maintaining tight formations.

Second Period

As the second period unfolded, both teams continued to struggle offensively. Despite several powerplay opportunities for each team, neither could capitalize. The goaltenders were particularly impressive during this period; Dan Vladar for the Broad Street Bullies made crucial saves that kept his team in contention.

Third Period

The third period was where the game truly came alive for Philadelphia. Travis Konecny led an offensive charge that resulted in three goals for the home team. His performance was complemented by Christian Dvorak's two assists and solid defensive plays from Rasmus Ristolainen and Jamie Drysdale. This surge overwhelmed Boston's defense and secured victory for the Flyers.

On the other side of the rink, despite a late goal from Boston’s offense during even strength play, it wasn't enough to close the gap created by Philadelphia’s explosive final period performance.
