In the second quarter, both teams continued their aggressive play styles. The Pels managed to tighten their defense slightly but still found themselves outscored by 7 points in this period. Saddiq Bey attempted to rally his team with crucial plays and consistent shooting accuracy from beyond the arc; however, Brooklyn maintained control through effective ball movement and strategic shot selections.

Third Quarter

The third quarter marked a turning point for New Orleans as they intensified their offensive strategies. Jeremiah Fears showcased his playmaking abilities by dishing out assists that led to easy baskets for teammates like Bryce McGowens and Zion Williamson. This surge allowed them to score an impressive 31 points during this period alone—narrowing down Brooklyn's lead considerably.
