Suns Blaze Past Magic 112-107, Secure Home Victory at Footprint Center

In a closely contested match at the Footprint Center, the Phoenix Suns emerged victorious over the Orlando Magic with a final score of 112-107. The Suns improved their season record to 17-15 while the Magic's record now stands at 19-13.

The home team displayed an impressive performance in front of a crowd of 17,071 fans. The Suns led for most of the game, clocking in a total time leading of over forty-four minutes and achieving their biggest lead by sixteen points. Their offensive efforts were notable as they shot fifty percent from the field on eighty-eight attempts and made eight out of twenty-seven three-point shots, translating to thirty percent from beyond the arc.


The Suns' defense was equally active with eleven steals and four blocks, matching that of the Magic's four blocks. Both teams ended up with two remaining timeouts each by game's end. The home team capitalized on turnovers scoring sixteen points off them compared to only eight by Orlando.


On offense, Phoenix showed efficiency inside with fifty-six points in paint out of forty-three attempts which is sixty-five percent shooting from that area. They also excelled at second-chance opportunities scoring nine points on an eighty percent shooting rate from five attempts.


Assist-wise, both teams were close but Phoenix edged out with twenty-one assists while maintaining better ball control as evidenced by their six turnovers against Orlando's fifteen. This resulted in an impressive assists turnover ratio for Phoenix standing at three point five.
