In front of a home crowd of 17,071 at Footprint Center, the Suns displayed an impressive performance on both ends of the court. The team's efficiency was evident with an overall rating of 115 compared to the Trail Blazers' 87. Phoenix led for over half an hour (33:34) and established a substantial lead that peaked at 26 points.

Offensively, Phoenix showcased their prowess by shooting at a solid rate from all areas on the floor. They ended up with a field goal percentage of 48 percent by making 38 out of their total attempts (80). Their three-point attempts were also fruitful as they made 11 out of their total attempts (29), resulting in a three-point shooting percentage of about 38 percent. Free throws contributed significantly as well, with Phoenix making about two-thirds (22 out of their total attempts (33)).

Defensively, Phoenix was just as effective; they stole possession from Portland ten times and blocked five shots. This defensive effort limited Portland's scoring opportunities and kept them trailing throughout most parts of the game. The Suns capitalized on turnovers by scoring an impressive total points off turnovers (30), which was double what Portland managed.

Rebounding was another area where Phoenix excelled; they pulled down nearly sixty rebounds in total – nine offensive and thirty-eight defensive – which played a crucial role in maintaining possession and creating second-chance opportunities that yielded twelve additional points for them.

The bench also provided valuable contributions for Phoenix with thirty-four bench points adding depth to their offense. In contrast, despite ten blocks from Portland showing resistance defensively, it wasn't enough to slow down the momentum built by Phoenix.

The upcoming schedule will see the Suns host another challenging opponent as they face off against LA Clippers at Footprint Center once again on January third at seven o'clock PM local time. Fans can catch this encounter live on AZFamily or BSSC channel six hundred ninety-three for those following away from home.
