At the Footprint Center in Phoenix, a crowd of 17,071 witnessed an impressive display by the Suns as they took control early and maintained their lead. The home team's offense was firing on all cylinders with a total of 102 points scored against a formidable Trail Blazers defense. The Suns led for over 44 minutes of game time and built up their largest lead to an impressive 29 points.

The defensive effort by Phoenix was equally noteworthy as they racked up an imposing number of blocks totaling 14 for the game. The bench played a crucial role in this win contributing an outstanding total of 40 bench points. Additionally, both teams drew fouls aggressively but it was Phoenix who made better use of these opportunities converting free throws at a rate of approximately 75 percent compared to Portland's roughly rounded down rate.

Portland Trail Blazers did not go down without showing some resistance though; they managed seven steals and blocked seven shots themselves while also making nearly half (approximately rounded) their three-point attempts. However, it wasn't enough to overcome Phoenix's strong performance across both ends of the court.
