The Phoenix Suns showcased their scoring efficiency with a solid field goal percentage of 50 and an impressive three-point shooting rate of 37 percent. They were particularly dominant inside, converting 62 percent of their attempts in the paint to accumulate a total of 42 points from that area. Their two-point shooting was also noteworthy, hitting at an impressive rate of 60 percent.

Defensively, the Suns managed to block three shots and recorded seven steals which contributed to their overall efficiency rating of 145. Their defensive efforts limited the Pelicans to just two brief moments in front with their largest lead being only two points early in the contest.

The bench played its role effectively by adding another layer to the team's performance with fifteen bench points. On top of that, ball movement was key for Phoenix as they dished out thirty-two assists leading to high-percentage shots and demonstrating excellent teamwork on court.

Rebounding was another area where Phoenix excelled; they pulled down fifty-nine rebounds including forty-eight personal rebounds which helped them maintain possession and control over the game flow. This dominance on glass also translated into second-chance opportunities where they scored nine points off nine attempts.

On offense, every possession counted for Phoenix as they averaged an offensive point per possession ratio of approximately one point seventeen while keeping their turnovers low at ten for this matchup.

Turning attention towards New Orleans Pelicans' efforts, despite falling short on this occasion, they did put up some resistance especially in terms of paint presence where they scored forty-eight paint points on sixty-five percent shooting from those close-range areas. They also had five blocks defensively but struggled from beyond the arc with only twenty-four percent accuracy from three-point range contributing significantly to their loss against a sharpshooting Suns squad.

As fans look ahead after this commanding victory by Phoenix over New Orleans at Smoothie King Center, attention shifts back home as "the" Phoenix Suns prepare for their next challenge against "the" Indiana Pacers scheduled for January twenty-first at eight PM Eastern Time at Footprint Center located in sunny Arizona.
