The Phoenix Suns started strong in the first quarter by putting up an impressive 37 points but could not maintain their momentum throughout the game. Despite a solid shooting performance with a field goal percentage of 56 and converting two-thirds of their two-point attempts, they struggled from beyond the arc hitting only four out of fourteen three-point shots for a modest three-point percentage of 29. The team's free throw performance was also lacking as they made just over half their attempts from the line.

On defense, the Suns managed to block five shots and steal possession four times but ultimately conceded more points than they scored. They collected a total of fifty rebounds during play; thirty-three were defensive and six offensive rebounds contributed to second-chance opportunities which unfortunately resulted in only four points.

The bench provided eighteen points but it wasn't enough to counterbalance twenty-three turnovers that led to eight points for Orlando. In terms of efficiency on both ends of the court, there was room for improvement as evidenced by an offensive rating slightly below one hundred and a defensive rating just above one hundred ten.

Orlando Magic capitalized on turnovers scoring twenty-one points off them and dominated second-chance points with twenty-two thanks to seven successful attempts out of thirteen. Their bench significantly outscored that of Phoenix with forty-three points contributing greatly to their victory. With twelve steals and seven blocks defensively, they disrupted many plays by Phoenix which helped them secure this win despite being behind in time leading during most parts.

Fans looking forward can catch the next game for Phoenix Suns when they visit Miami Heat at Kaseya Center on January 29th at 5:30 PM Eastern Time. This match will be broadcasted nationally on NBA TV channel two hundred sixteen or locally via BSSUN channel six hundred fifty-three or AZFamily for those following away from home.
