The game was marked by several lead changes and ties, but it was the Suns who managed to maintain control for a significant portion of the contest. With time leading totaling nearly half an hour (29:40), compared to just under seventeen minutes for their opponents, Phoenix demonstrated resilience and determination on their home court.

The Suns' offense was firing on all cylinders with an impressive field goal percentage of 51 percent from both two-point and three-point ranges. Their efficiency shone through as they outscored the Bucks in points off turnovers by a margin of 16 to 23. The team's bench contributed significantly less than Milwaukee's with only 11 points but this did not deter them from securing a win.

Defensively, Phoenix also stood strong with five blocks and eight steals during the game. They dominated rebounds with a total count of 58 against Milwaukee's 55, which included securing more offensive rebounds (8) than defensive ones (1). This rebounding advantage allowed them to capitalize on second-chance opportunities where they scored an outstandingly high percentage of points (82 percent).

The home team excelled in fast-break situations as well; converting all three attempts into points which contributed to their overall tally. Additionally, they drew more fouls than Milwaukee which led them to attempt more free throws; however, they could only convert two-thirds of these chances.

A flagrant foul marked one notable moment during play but did not escalate beyond that single incident. Both teams ended up without any player ejections or coach ejections throughout what was undoubtedly an intense matchup.

Looking ahead for fans of the Phoenix Suns is another exciting encounter scheduled at Footprint Center against Utah Jazz on February 8th at 7:00 PM local time. This upcoming game will be broadcasted locally on AZFamily network and can also be caught by away fans through KJZZ TV network coverage.
