The game was characterized by its dynamic pace and frequent lead changes, totaling 17 throughout the match. The Suns and Kings were neck-and-neck with five instances where scores were tied. However, Phoenix managed to maintain control for 19:40 minutes compared to Sacramento's 25:27 minutes leading time. Despite this disparity, it was Phoenix's ability to capitalize on key moments that ultimately secured their triumph.

The Suns showcased an impressive offensive performance with a field goal percentage of 52 percent and an even more remarkable three-point shooting at 42 percent accuracy. Their free throw efforts were also noteworthy as they hit 81 percent from the line. A significant contribution came from their bench players who added a substantial 44 points to Phoenix's total score.

Defensively, both teams had six blocks each; however, it was in steals where the Suns outmaneuvered their opponents with eleven steals against eight by Sacramento. This defensive prowess translated into crucial turnovers and fast-break opportunities for Phoenix.

One standout statistic for Phoenix was their true shooting percentage which stood at an efficient rate of 64 percent compared to Sacramento's also impressive but slightly lower rate of 59 percent. Moreover, while both teams had similar numbers in rebounds – with Phoenix grabbing a total of forty-six rebounds against fifty-four by Sacramento – it was how each team utilized these chances that made a difference.

Looking ahead after this hard-fought victory, fans can anticipate another exciting matchup as the Phoenix Suns are set to host Detroit Pistons at Footprint Center on February 14th at 7:00 PM local time (AZ). The game will be broadcasted live on AZFamily network for home viewers and BSDET channel number six hundred sixty-three for those following from away.
