At the Footprint Center in Phoenix, the Suns showcased their offensive might and defensive solidity. With an impressive tally of 116 points to their name, they outshone the Pistons' effort by securing a substantial lead early on and maintaining it throughout the game. The Suns' efficiency was evident as they recorded an efficiency game score of 104 compared to Detroit's 67.4.

The home team's bench contributed significantly with 52 points, demonstrating depth and versatility. On defense, they were formidable as well; swatting away shots resulted in a total of 11 blocks for the night. Steals were another area where Phoenix excelled; their quick hands led to them amassing a total of 15 steals.

Phoenix's shooting accuracy was noteworthy as well – sinking half or more across various shot types: field goals (46 percent), three-pointers (32 percent), and free throws (82 percent). Their prowess inside was also on display with them making nearly six out of ten attempts from within the paint.

On top of that, rebounding was key for Phoenix who gathered an impressive total rebound count of 65 compared to Detroit’s tally which stood at 54 rebounds. This included both offensive rebounds where Phoenix had nine and defensive ones with an even more significant number at forty-five.

Detroit did put up resistance despite trailing behind for most parts; they managed to lead briefly during the game but could not sustain it against Phoenix’s onslaught. The Pistons’ best efforts came from their bench scoring which accounted for almost half their points with forty-six coming from non-starters.
