Phoenix Suns Eclipse Charlotte Hornets in a Show of Dominance at Spectrum Center

The Phoenix Suns, with a record of 39-28, faced off against the Charlotte Hornets, standing at 17-50 this season. In a game that showcased the Suns' ability to control the court, they emerged victorious with a final score of 107-96.

The Suns demonstrated their offensive capabilities early on by taking charge in the first quarter with 28 points to the Hornets' 26. The momentum continued as they outscored their opponents in each subsequent quarter except for the last, where both teams netted an equal number of points. A particularly impressive third quarter saw the Suns rack up an additional 38 points to solidify their lead.


Offensively, Phoenix was led by a balanced attack that saw them shoot at a rate of 46 percent from the field and an impressive 59 percent from two-point range. Their prowess inside was evident as they accumulated 44 points in paint and maintained an effective field goal percentage of 52 percent throughout the game. From beyond the arc, they managed to hit at a rate of 29 percent with eleven three-pointers made.

On defense, Phoenix held strong as well; their efforts resulted in limiting Charlotte's shooting efficiency to just 37 percent from the field and a meagerly low three-point percentage of only sixteen percent. The defensive pressure applied by Phoenix also translated into nine points off turnovers.


Rebounding played a significant role for Phoenix as well; they dominated on both ends with forty-seven defensive rebounds and ten offensive rebounds contributing to their total tally of sixty-one rebounds compared to fifty-six by Charlotte.

The bench provided valuable support chipping in twenty-eight bench points while maintaining control over possession throughout most of the game – leading for over forty-two minutes compared to just over four minutes led by Charlotte.
