On the other side, despite a valiant effort from their squad which saw them leading at various junctures of the game due to their impressive third-quarter performance where they scored 35 points, it wasn't enough to overcome Phoenix's persistence. The Clippers' bench contributed significantly as well but fell just short in overtime.
