Key Highlights from Phoenix

The Suns struggled to find their rhythm throughout the game. Despite leading for a brief 9 minutes and 45 seconds and boasting a six-point lead at one juncture, they couldn't maintain their momentum. Their shooting accuracy was notably off-mark with an overall field goal percentage of just 40 percent. From beyond the arc, they managed to convert 39 percent of their attempts into points but faltered in paint scoring with only a 32 percent success rate.

Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal emerged as top performers for Phoenix, each contributing significantly despite the loss. Durant tallied an impressive 23 points along with nine rebounds and two assists while maintaining a field goal percentage of over fifty-three percent. Beal matched Durant's point total but struggled on defense as reflected in his defensive rating.

Denver's Dominance

On the other side, Denver showcased why they are considered among the elite teams this season. Their offensive strategy was on full display with an effective field goal percentage hitting sixty percent and dominating paint scoring by making sixty-two percent of those shots count towards their total score of 117 points.

The Nuggets' ability to capitalize on turnovers was evident as they scored eighteen points off turnovers compared to fifteen by Phoenix. Additionally, Denver's bench depth proved crucial as it contributed thirty-four points to their victory.
