Suns Outshine Clippers in Footprint Center Duel

The Phoenix Suns and the Los Angeles Clippers faced off in a closely contested game at the Footprint Center, with the Suns emerging victorious with a final score of 111-109. This win improves the Suns' record to 24-21, while the Clippers now stand at 26-20 for the season.

Game Highlights


The Suns showcased their offensive capabilities by leading for over 37 minutes of game time and achieving a biggest lead of 13 points. Their performance was highlighted by an impressive three-point shooting percentage of 47 percent, making 22 out of 47 attempts from beyond the arc. The team also capitalized on second-chance opportunities, scoring 18 points from such plays.


Devin Booker led the charge for Phoenix with his all-around performance, contributing significantly with 26 points, eight assists, and seven rebounds. Kevin Durant also made his presence felt by adding another layer to the Suns' offense with his contribution of 24 points and five assists. Tyus Jones provided valuable support offensively as well, scoring an efficient 17 points.

On defense, Mason Plumlee stood out for Phoenix with three blocks while Royce O'Neale's defensive efforts were notable as he managed four steals during his time on court.


Clippers' Effort


Despite their loss, the Clippers showed resilience throughout the match. They managed to keep pace by scoring efficiently inside paint where they accumulated a total of sixty points. Their fast-break execution was particularly effective as they converted eight out of thirteen opportunities into twenty-five fast-break points.
