Suns' Sharpshooting Makes the Difference

The Suns showcased their shooting prowess, converting 24 out of 43 three-point attempts, translating to an impressive 56 percent success rate. This stellar three-point shooting was a key factor in their victory. Devin Booker and Kevin Durant led the charge for Phoenix, each scoring 22 points. Booker also dished out a game-high 13 assists, demonstrating his dual-threat capability as both scorer and playmaker.

Phoenix's defense played a pivotal role in securing this win by forcing the Kings into committing 19 turnovers and converting those opportunities into 38 points off turnovers. The Suns' aggressive defense resulted in them stealing the ball from Sacramento players on twelve occasions.

Kings Struggle Despite Efforts

Despite their efforts, the Sacramento Kings struggled to keep pace with Phoenix's scoring barrage. They managed to shoot at a respectable rate of 49 percent from the field but were unable to match Phoenix's efficiency from three-point range, making only eight of their thirty-two attempts (25 percent). De'Aaron Fox led Sacramento with his performance but found little support in overcoming Phoenix’s defensive pressure and sharpshooting.
