Second Quarter

In the second quarter, both teams ramped up their offensive efforts. The Nets managed to close in on their deficit by scoring 42 points compared to Phoenix's 32. However, Dillon Brooks and Collin Gillespie kept up pressure for the Suns with consistent performances that ensured they maintained a lead heading into halftime.

Despite Brooklyn's best efforts led by key players trying to mount a comeback with a solid performance of scoring another 28 points, it was not enough against Phoenix’s balanced attack which secured them another win by adding an additional 23 points.
