In an offensive showcase, the Louisville Cardinals secured a narrow victory over the Boston College Eagles. The home team's offense was firing on all cylinders, amassing a total of 664 yards. The passing game was particularly effective, with the quarterback throwing for 428 yards and achieving an impressive passer rating of nearly 193. This aerial assault included a long pass play that resulted in a touchdown from 59 yards out.

The rushing attack complemented the passing game well, contributing significantly with 236 yards on the ground and three touchdowns. The longest rush did not result in a touchdown but still gained an impressive 47 yards. On special teams, field goal kicking was solid for the Cardinals as they succeeded on two out of three attempts; their longest successful field goal stretched to 41 yards.

Defensively, while no sacks were recorded by either team's defense during this high-scoring affair, Louisville managed to force one fumble and recover it as well. Additionally noteworthy is that they intercepted one pass which they returned for eleven yards.

On the other side of the ball, despite their loss, Boston College put up quite a fight themselves with their quarterback throwing for nearly as many yards as his counterpart from Louisville and matching him with two passing touchdowns.

Looking ahead after this hard-fought win at home against Boston College Eagles football team fans can mark their calendars for another exciting game when their beloved Louisville Cardinals take on Wake Forest Demon Deacons at Truist Field in Winston-Salem. This upcoming contest is scheduled for October 12th at approximately 7:30 PM local time and will be broadcasted live on ACC Network satellite channel number six hundred twelve.
