First Quarter

The game kicked off with the Panthers taking an early lead, scoring 17 points while keeping the Cards scoreless. The home team's defense was particularly effective in this quarter, stifling Louisville's offensive efforts and forcing them to regroup.

Second Quarter

The second quarter saw a shift in momentum as Louisville responded with a strong offensive push. Miller Moss led the charge for the Cards, completing passes that totaled 339 yards throughout the game. His performance included three touchdowns and one interception. By halftime, both teams had added points to their tallies; however, Pitt maintained a slight edge going into the break.

Third Quarter

As play resumed after halftime, both defenses tightened up significantly. The Cards managed only a field goal during this period but held Pitt scoreless thanks to key defensive plays by Antonio Watts and TJ Quinn who combined for three interceptions over four quarters.

Fourth Quarter

In an exciting turn of events during the fourth quarter, Louisville's offense found its rhythm again—scoring two touchdowns without allowing any points from Pitt—a decisive factor that sealed their victory on enemy turf.

Despite some challenges faced earlier on—including nine penalties resulting in loss of yardage—the Cardinals' resilience paid off handsomely as they capitalized on opportunities presented late into regulation time which ultimately secured them another win under head coach Scott Satterfield’s guidance.
