First Quarter

The Cards started strong, scoring 14 points in the first quarter while limiting the 'Canes to just 7 points. Miller Moss led the charge for Louisville with two touchdown passes, showcasing his precision and ability to find open receivers like Chris Bell, who caught one of these touchdowns for a long gain of 36 yards.

Second Quarter

In the second quarter, defense took center stage as both teams tightened up their play. The Hurricanes managed to add only a field goal to their tally while keeping Louisville scoreless during this period. The Cards' defense was relentless, with players like Antonio Watts making crucial tackles and interceptions that thwarted Miami's advances.

Third Quarter

The third quarter saw each team adding just three points through field goals. Cooper Ranvier successfully converted a 48-yard attempt for Louisville, maintaining his perfect kicking record in this game. Meanwhile, Miami struggled against an impenetrable Cardinals defense that recorded four interceptions throughout the match.

Fourth Quarter

As tensions rose in the fourth quarter, both teams fought hard until the final whistle. The Cards added another touchdown thanks to Isaac Brown's rushing efforts from close range after an impressive drive downfield orchestrated by Moss and supported by key receptions from Caullin Lacy and Dacari Collins.

Despite a late surge from Miami that included an additional eight points on their side of the scoreboard, it wasn't enough to overcome Louisville's lead established earlier in the game.

Louisville Cardinals vs Miami (FL) Hurricanes final score stood at 24-21 as time expired.
