UCF Knights Dominate Oklahoma State Cowboys at FBC Mortgage Stadium in American Football Showdown
In a commanding display of football, the University of Central Florida Knights secured a 45-3 victory over the Oklahoma State Cowboys. The Knights' season record now stands at 5-5, while the Cowboys fall to 7-3. The game, held at FBC Mortgage Stadium in Orlando, showcased the Knights' offensive and defensive capabilities.
The University of Central Florida's offense was unstoppable as they amassed a total of 592 yards. The passing game was particularly effective with 299 yards through the air and three touchdowns; one pass completed for an impressive distance of 75 yards. Quarterback performance was stellar with a passer rating rounding to an exceptional 247 and completing over half their passes with an accuracy rate of approximately 63 percent.
The rushing attack complemented this aerial assault as UCF ran for nearly 300 yards, averaging almost six yards per carry. A highlight from the ground game included a breathtaking rush that broke free for a staggering 92-yard touchdown run—the longest rushing touchdown in the game.
Special teams also contributed to UCF's dominance, successfully converting all six extra-point attempts and making good on their sole field goal attempt from within the range of thirty-nine yards.
Defensively, UCF was just as dominant. They stifled Oklahoma State's offense throughout the contest and recorded three interceptions while allowing zero passing touchdowns against them. The defense also managed to sack Oklahoma State’s quarterback once for eleven lost yards and limited them to only three points scored during the entire game.
Penalties were minimal for both sides with UCF committing only four penalties totaling forty penalty yards—well below any threshold that would typically raise concern.
As fans look ahead, they can mark their calendars for when UCF will take on Texas Tech Red Raiders at Jones AT&T Stadium in Lubbock on November 18th at approximately five o'clock PM Eastern Time. This upcoming encounter will be broadcasted live on Fox Sports two satellite channel six hundred eighteen where fans can tune in to support their team from afar.
