First Quarter

The opening quarter saw both teams struggling to find their rhythm offensively. Neither side managed to put points on the board as defenses held strong. The Knights' defensive line was particularly effective, with players like Malachi Lawrence making significant contributions by recording a sack and forcing a fumble.

Second Quarter

As the second quarter unfolded, Kansas State began to assert themselves offensively. They scored 17 points while UCF managed only one touchdown through an impressive 82-yard pass from Jacurri Brown to DJ Black. Despite this highlight play, turnovers plagued UCF's efforts as they threw two interceptions during this period.

Third Quarter

The third quarter saw an uptick in action from both sides. The Knights added another touchdown courtesy of Jaden Nixon's explosive 54-yard rush into the end zone. However, K-State responded with two touchdowns of their own, maintaining their lead and showcasing their offensive capabilities.

Fourth Quarter

In the final quarter, both teams added field goals but were unable to significantly alter the game's trajectory. Noe Ruelas was reliable for UCF with his kicking accuracy contributing six points overall through field goals and extra points.
